Individuals who have cirrhosis or chronic liver disease may develop gynecomastia for several reasons. Cirrhotics tend to have increased secretion of the androgenic hormone androstenedione from the adrenal glands, increased conversion of this hormone into various types of estrogen, and increased levels of SHBG, which leads to decreased blood levels of free testosterone. Approximately 10–40% of individuals with Graves' disease (a common form of hyperthyroidism ) experience gynecomastia. Increased conversion of testosterone to estrogen by increased aromatase activity, increased levels of SHBG and increased production of testosterone and estradiol by the testes due to elevated levels of LH cause the gynecomastia. Proper treatment of the hyperthyroidism can lead to the resolution of the gynecomastia.
The recovery process following liposuction is typically quite tolerable. Patients are often given a compression garment to wear for the first few weeks after surgery; this helps to minimize swelling and offers support to the healing tissues. While vigorous exercise is typically off-limits for about 3 weeks, many men return to work or school within several days after their procedures. However, it is important to understand that everyone heals at a unique pace; your cosmetic surgeon will give you individualized instructions for recovery.
Hi everyone here that is probably flipping because you want to get rid of your nipple problems.
I went through what you all felt and I would say that there is no solutions without a cost. Surgery would take a few thousand dollars. -yep this is kind of the only effective solution here (well and maybe some remedies that may or may not help).
This is no life threatening problem. It does not affect your health, at all. The only problem that this thing causes is social problem. Having puffy nipples as a teen may really undermine your confidence (by a lot for my case). I would stop doing activities I love such as playing football. I would even have to change the way I walk, wear oversized shirt. Haha I think most of you can relate to this.
