I don’t know much about NSCA, but as far as NASM goes, I’d say you’d definitely feel you needed additional training after the CPT course to be able to knowledgeably work with advanced dancers. It would set a good foundation for working in a gym with your average client working an office job and looking to lose a few pounds or get into better general shape, but doesn’t go into sport specialties. You might want to look into NASM’s other specific certifications though–I’ve hear their Corrective Exercise Specialist cert is an excellent addition to the basic CPT. Hope that helps, and good luck with whatever course you choose! 🙂

One strange side-effect of the healing and re-wiring of the facial nerve is how my tear ducts in my right eye and right side of my nose react when I eat. Because these nerves are so close the ones that control the salivary glands, it appears they now react by watering and running when I eat. It’s now easy for people to see when I think food is good because it looks like my right eye is tearing up and I have to blow my nose! I admit, it’s kind of strange, but it really isn’t a big deal, and a small inconvenience considering where I was.

I’ve been having recurring vaginal yeast infection each month for 2 years now. I love sugary snacks. I took blood test before and my doc said my blood sugar is normal. I met a few gynecologist they gave me diflucan and vaginal pessaries. It worked for about a week or two but before my period I get yeast infection all over again. I have been inserting yogurt but it doesn’t die, I tried douching with teatree oil and it works great it starts to die and come off but the next day it’ll come back. so I have to repeat. Getting tired of this game.
